So one friday evening, my friend and I were very hungry and looking for somewhere with less crowd and less food preparation time to eat. We decided to go to Franks Prime Hotdog, a hotdog stand. I usually jog by it and whenever I do, I tell myself I would try the food truck one day. It reminds me of the movie “Chef” about a chef and his food truck, if you haven’t watched it you should. It is really interesting.
This was the perfect day to try. I ordered a Hot Chili Hotdog with Beef because I wanted something very spicy. He ordered the B.B.Q. Hotdog with Chicken. The waiter was really nice and polite and he kept smiling all through.
The hotdogs were already grilling when we ordered so it didn’t take much time for the hotdog to be ready. For the chips, I expected fries to be honest but it was something. I don’t know what it was but it was called chips. It felt like something baked or so. But it was nice, my friend didn’t like it so he removed it from his hotdog.
For the price, it’s not bad. Would I go back again? Definitely. The issue I have with the place is that there was no where to seat. We had to eat in the car. So it is suitable for takeaways definitely not for eatins.
