Hi Guys!
So EatDrinkLagos mentioned this cafe as a must visit cafe for 2016 and I figured it was the first place to start with. It’s above the Delis Supermarket on Akin Adesola just before Bungalows and Cafe Neo.
By the time I got there, my friends had ordered their cocktails.
I love the ambiance of the cafe. They also have an amazing bar with a lot of varieties I think. We were a group of 10 at the cafe, it felt like they have never had to deal with a noisy bunch of people before. We probably should have booked before hand lol.
I ordered the Chicken Caesar Sandwich which came with green salad and cheese sprinkled on it. I loved the presentation of the sandwich while it isn’t unique it was different from the norm. The sandwich was amazing (tres yum) and the green salad wasn’t too bad either.
I waited for 15 minutes thereabout for it to arrive and it didn’t disappoint me at all. It was very filling. My friends ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Breast with Spicy Mashed Potatoes and mushroom sauce.
Although I loved my sandwich and green salad, I think it was expensive. I mean I got charged consumption tax(?), service fee and VAT. What is with Lagos restaurants and taxes, I mean I get charged for consumption.
Tope: The grilled chicken breast wasn’t hot at all. The mashed potatoes were hot and good.
Dapo: Although I’m not really big on salads, the salad was hard to eat. I had to get to the bottom to get the flavor.

I’m drawn to the grilled chicken breast.
These taxes ain’t official. Got charged food tax at Cold Stone. On another day they didn’t charge me that again. Seems kinda made up.
Heyyy….It’s not all restaurants I get charged such.
